The Dick’s Fish and Chips Road Race is set to return for its second edition on July 5, 2026, in Bell Island, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Following a successful debut, the event is back on the provincial cycling calendar, continuing to build momentum within the local racing scene. Organized in association with Bicycle Newfoundland and Labrador (BNL), the race is expected to once again attract cyclists from across the province.

Last year’s inaugural edition saw over 50 cyclists, ranging from ages 13 to 70, take part in the event, which also played a meaningful role in supporting Canada Games cycling athletes as they prepared to represent the province at the Canada Summer Games in St. John’s.

While additional details for the 2026 race are yet to be announced, organizers have confirmed that registration will be opening soon, with more information expected in the coming weeks.

With Bell Island once again set as the backdrop, Year 2 of the Dick’s Fish and Chips Road Race promises to build on its strong foundation and continue growing as a key event in Newfoundland and Labrador’s cycling calendar.
