The breakthrough moment came in the 2026 NL Cricket Winter League, where NL Hunters stunned many by lifting the championship in their debut season. It marked only the second time a newly formed club had captured the title, turning the team from newcomers into genuine contenders almost overnight.
Now competing in the Cricket NL T20 Summer League, NL Hunters remain a developing side with a mix of experienced players and emerging talent. While results continue to fluctuate in a competitive environment, the club has already shown signs of resilience and depth, staying within reach of regaining momentum as the season progresses.
