June 22nd, 2025 will go down in Cricket Newfoundland and Labrador and Cricket Canada’s history as the day Akash Deep Singh redefined batting prowess. Representing NL Wolves in an F40 fixture against NL Stars, Akash and Aryan put on a show that may never be forgotten. Akash blasted a super-human 194 runs, which is also the highest individual score in CNL history across formats (T10, T20 & F40). This wasn’t just dominant, it was calculated. Akash and Aryan powered the Wolves to an astronomical 475 in 40 overs, the highest team total recorded in CNL.
This wasn’t a one man show, as Aryan Falke stood tall at the other end, scoring the 6th highest individual score in CNL, a phenomenal 146. Together they stitched a 306-run partnership, this highest ever for any wicket in the province’s cricketing records.
What came next only added to the absurdity of the day, as NL Stars were booked for 75 runs, giving NL Wolves the biggest winning margin the history of Cricket NL and, to our knowledge, Cricket Canada as aa whole, a 400 run victory.
This was not just a match, it was an era-defining statement by the Wolves, who hammered a depleted NL Stars in all departments. NL Wolves shattered records and set new standards. Akash, Aryan and the Wolves stamped their name in the history books.
