ST. JOHN’S — The Newfoundland Regiment Hockey Club is set to take another historic step as they prepare for their first-ever appearance in the QMJHL Playoffs, coming in the franchise’s inaugural season.
The Regiment will face the Cape Breton Eagles in a best-of-seven Division Quarterfinal series beginning Thursday, March 26.
After entering the league this season, the Regiment’s qualification for the postseason marks a significant milestone, as the club transitions from its inaugural campaign into playoff competition.
The series opens with Games 1 and 2 at Mary Brown’s Centre in St. John’s on March 26 and 27. The matchup will then shift to Cape Breton for Games 3, 4, and (if necessary) Game 5, before returning to St. John’s for Games 6 and 7 if required.
