The Bhutan Cricket Council Board has officially announced 40 central contracts for the 2026 season, marking a significant step forward for cricket in Bhutan. The contracts are split evenly between men’s and women’s teams, reflecting a balanced development approach under the framework of the International Cricket Council.
Contract Structure
Grade A
6 players – USD 3,960 per year
Grade B
8 players – USD 2,640 per year
Grade C
26 players – USD 1,320 per year
The board may also award up to eight additional youth contracts to strengthen the talent pathway.
