It remains one of the sharpest spells delivered by an RC bowler in recent memory. That helped wrap up the innings for N.S.K at a mere and easily chaseable 64, that RC was able to chase in the 10th over.
Mukul, who led the bowling attack for RC for multiple seasons, had a simple approach — keep it tight, hit the right areas, and let the pressure do the rest. Against NSK, that plan worked to perfection. He ran through the top and middle order, giving NSK no chance to recover.
Across formats, Mukul has picked up over 80 wickets, many of them coming at crucial moments for his side. While he’s now stepped away from bowling due to injury and has been contributing more as a batter, that 7/17 remains one of his standout performances in an RC shirt.
