Batting first, Zalmi managed 147/8 in their 20 overs. Captain Babar Azam top-scored with 46 runs off 41 balls, while Mohammad Haris added a quick 28. Khushdil Shah stood out with the ball for Karachi, picking up 3 wickets for just 20 runs. Abbas Afridi also grabbed 3 wickets, helping restrict Zalmi to a below-par total.
In reply, Karachi suffered an early blow as Tim Seifert fell on the first ball. But David Warner anchored the innings with a solid 60 off 47 balls.
