The Newfoundland and Labrador Ball Hockey Association has officially opened applications for coaching positions with Team NL Selects ahead of the 2026 CBHA Junior National Championships.
The opportunity includes both Head Coach and Assistant Coach roles across six divisions: Male 15U, Male 17U, Male 19, Female 15U, Female 17U, and Female 19U. These positions offer a chance to represent Newfoundland and Labrador on the national stage in Saint John, New Brunswick, from July 21–25, 2026.
Applicants are required to hold Respect in Sports for Activity Leaders certification and must submit a ball hockey resume along with a cover letter outlining their preferred role and qualifications.
The deadline to apply is April 19, 2026, with selected candidates to be contacted for interviews by April 26, 2026.
Successful applicants will be expected to attend the Provincial Tryout Camp (May 22–24 at Goulds Arena or DF Barnes Arena), a Coaches Seminar (date to be announced), and travel with the team for the full duration of the event, departing July 20 and returning July 25 or 26.
With Team NL Selects preparing for another national campaign, the NLBHA is calling on passionate and committed leaders to step forward and be part of the province’s next chapter in ball hockey.
