The cricket fraternity is in mourning following the passing of Mr. Farrukh Hanif, a dedicated player of Khobar Rangers Cricket Club. He passed away on March 30 in the holy city of Madinah Manawarah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Eastern Province Cricket Association (EPCA), a regulatory cricket body in the east of KSA, has expressed its deepest condolences on this tragic loss. EPCA Chairman Mr. AlNaimi, President Mr. Farhat, executive members, various cricket clubs, and community members have extended their heartfelt sympathies to Farrukh Hanif’s family and loved ones.
Mr. Farrukh Hanif, fondly known as Farri, was an integral part of Khobar Rangers CC, known for his sportsmanship and passion for the game. His sudden demise has left a significant void in the cricketing community of the region.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Farrukh Hanif. His contributions to the sport and his camaraderie within the team will always be remembered. We pray to Almighty Allah to grant him the highest place in Jannah and bring peace to his grieving family,” said EPCA officials in a joint statement.
